Rockford Common

Today I went for a 4km walk around Rockford Common. It is known for its purple heather, and it did not disappoint in that regard. There were shades of purple, yellow intermixed with green.

A lone tree with purple heather surrounding it — There were not many trees around the common so they really stood out.

A river that is very low showing the bed on one side — Dockens Water was looking very low when I crossed it about half way around.
